From NewOrderOnline.com (Pat Lydon)
Now this gig information is all done from memory, but it was my first ever gig as a 17 yr old, so virtually every moment has stuck in my mind. First off they played about 6 songs, went off & came back on to do 4 more. Setlist is incomplete, but the following songs were definetly performed: Temptation, Your silent face, Age of consent the village, Blue monday, sister ray, dreams never end & procession. I think they performed Little dead, but am not quite sure. At the start of Procession Bernard offered a beer to the first person to identify the song. The beer was given to a red headed chap who during the next song (dreams never end) in his excitement threw beer over Peter hook who at first aimed his bass at the poor fellas head (he missed!), and of course the song ground to a halt ("thanks to that red headed cunt" - Hook) At the start of blue monday someone objected to Steve moving away from the drums "where's the drummer gone". He got drenched in wine thrown by Bernard! Suppot was by 2 local bands, New Testament & All cats are grey. Also the gig is wrongly listed as being in Cork when it should be Galway.
