Brixton Academy, London, England, United Kingdom (1983)

I remember buying three tickets nfor me and two mates, then changed my mind and decided to take Jo From Swansea instead, who had the sexiest voice I've ever heard, leaving me with a spare, which was swiftly taken off me for half price by a tout when I tried to sell it to another punter...inside it was cold in the same way that Heaven would be hot the following summer. I had Jo on my shoulders as much to keep me warm as anything!
The show was less memorable than others, except for the uncomfortable 'what-are-they-doing-here?' insert of Love Reaction, which left most people unsure whether to laugh or get angry, which was amusing in itself.
Lucky Marko had a short [if not slightly perilous walk] while I recall spending all night travelling and two hours asleep in the car before work...
