This show took place on a rainy, hot Saturday afternoon. There was some problem with the booking, and this led to the show not being properly advertised. There were only about 2 dozen people in attendance. The band realized the screw-up and made a sort of rehearsal of it. The set up on the dance floor in a circle, sitting in folding chairs, and we stood around them in a circle. Not a lot of dancing, but a sort of sitting around and watching the band play event. A very different sort of experience. I took a friend who didn't know who they were and was unable to figure it out. He later killed himself, and I remember that day, because of him, the strange show, and the heat. It was one of those events that made that era in music and time unrepeatable.
